The Country Music Association (CMA) Awards took place on Wednesday night, with George Strait taking home the top honor as Entertainer of the Year. It’s good timing too, since the 61-year-old Texan will be retiring from the road. “This blows me away,” he said. “This means the world to me, I appreciate it. Thank you.” It was an evening where many of the nominees were equally honored, with Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, and Keith Urban winning two awards each! Kacey Musgraves, who won New Artist of the Year, exclaimed, “This first year for me has just been undescribable.”
