A-Rod drops MLB lawsuit over drug suspension

After the MLB suspended Alex Rodriguez through the 2014 season for performance-enhancing drug use, he tried appealing (legally fighting) their decision. However, he dropped his lawsuit against the MLB on Monday and accepted the season-long ban. His chances of winning looked grim, especially since his drug dealer Anthony Bosch confessed to the whole thing. Teammate Derek Jeter says the Yankees will be fine without him, offering, “It is what it is. He’s not here for this season and so we’re going to have to find ways to win with the team we have.”
