The Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 in the final game of the season, ending the Stanley Cup Playoffs with 4 wins and 2 losses.
Duncan Keith scored in the 2nd period and stole the Lightning’s thunderous offense with a hurricane defense.
Then, Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane scored the final goal, cementing their victory.
Days later, a massive parade of 2 million people marched through the streets of Chicago, cheering the home team as red and black confetti rained down.
“Did anyone notice we had a little bit of rain on Monday night?” asked team owner Rocky Wirtz, as the crowd went wild. “I didn’t see any Lightning.”
