The cover for Demi’s book was inspired by the “Stay Strong” tattoos on her wrist, and the birds on her forearm.

While everyone fusses over Miley Cyrus and her embarrassing attempts at dancing, let’s focus the attention on Demi Lovato – another fallen Disney star. Now, why would we talk about Lovato if she has publicly admitted to taking drugs, partying excessively, and attending rehab for drinking? If anything, that sounds a lot worse than Cyrus and her “new” look…

Well, because Lovato has done what Cyrus has failed to do: turn her life around and inspire those struggling with similar issues to make better choices. On Monday, the publishing company Macmillan announced that the former Disney star had signed a deal with the agency to write two books that highlight her struggles with addiction and the long road to recovery.

The first book, Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year, is scheduled to come out November 19 and will feature quotes inspired by the tweets Lovato wrote during her darkest time. “One of the things that has helped me with recovery is taking every day one day at a time,” Lovato said in her video announcement. “I’m a firm believer in starting the day off the right way with inspirational quotes and sort of a morning meditation, so I’ve put together 365 of my favorite quotes and a morning meditation for everybody.” Currently there is no information on the second book other than the fact that it is an autobiography that will be released at a later date.

This isn’t the first time Lovato has talked about her problems. Rather than glamorize the usage of drugs – like several other celebrities have done in their songs – Lovato uses her albums to express how beautiful life can be when drugs are out of the picture! Maybe she can pass some tips over to Cyrus who “can’t stop” with the partying…
