The Parr family is anything but ordinary.

Superhero fans and Disney worshipers rejoice, because the incredibly popular Oscar-winning The Incredibles is getting a sequel! Animation studio Pixar is taking the reins once again, so prepare for mouth-dropping computer-generated imagery (CGI) and heartwarming high-flying fun.

Since the movie’s taking place in The Incredibles universe, where “Supers” aren’t allowed to fight crime, it’ll be interesting to see what sort of hijinks Bob and Helen Parr (Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl) and their kids Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack get wrapped up in.

The first The Incredibles racked up major moola after it released in October of 2004, earning $631 million worldwide so far. It also scored piles of awards and was the first Pixar movie to win more than one Academy Award, as it took home Oscars for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Sound Editing.

Although the Parr family hasn’t graced the silver screen for almost a decade, they’re still very well-liked, as the characters are bestsellers in the action-adventure Disney Infinity video game where kids can buy toons to play with. Then again, that’s not too surprising, considering Pixar has been behind some of the very best CGI films in recent memory, winning a whopping 27 Academy Awards, 7 Golden Globe Awards, and 11 Grammy Awards.
