Now, we’ve all been caught in the act of accidentally sharing our private opinions or mindless rants out loud, but for Transformers director Michael Bay, it was quite the opposite. After the teleprompter malfunctioned during his speech at the Consumer Electronics Show, he frozen and then just abandoned the stage!
It all went down when Bay was lending his fame to Samsung’s new 105-inch curved UHD television at the conference in Las Vegas. Let’s just say, I’d really hate to be the guy who was in charge of that teleprompter! Can you blink faster than you can say career change? Probably not, but man, that’s enough to bring out the Decepticon in someone.
In all seriousness, why can’t we just give Bay a break? After all, he is a “director” and not an actor.
I agree with filmmaker Zak Bagans, who responded to the negative twitter buzz by saying, “Leave Michael Bay alone, some of the most talented and creative people in the world suffer from anxiety and stage-fright.”
