Star Wars cast
Wookiees, droids, Jedi, and smugglers gather for a sit-down, as the Episode VII cast chats it up with director J.J. Abrams.

The Force is gathering power, as Star Wars Day draws near with the warmth of a lightsaber’s glittering burn. To really get the cantina party started in preparation for “May the 4th be with you” on Sunday, Disney-owned Lucasfilm and director J.J. Abrams revealed the full cast list for Episode VII today!

Yes, as expected, classic faces are returning to mingle with fresh young Jedi, bounty hunters, and Sith Lords.

Mark Hamill is returning as the Jedi Master himself, Luke Skywalker, while Carrie Fisher will be sporting the Leia Organa curls again (well, maybe she’s updated the hairdo by now). Everyone’s favorite mischief-making smuggler, Han Solo, will be played by Harrison Ford again, and Peter Mayhew will be roaring once more as his furry Wookiee sidekick Chewbacca.

As for the most famous droids in the universe, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker will return as C-3PO and R2-D2, respectively.

Big name newcomers include Andy Serkis, who played the “preciousssss” ring-hoarding Gollum in Lord of the Rings, and Max von Sydow, whose villainous roles across the decades would make him perfect for the dark side of the Force.

Then, there’s a host of Star Wars rookies joining the Galactic Republic, including John Boyega (Attack the Block), Adam Driver (Girls), Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), and Daisy Ridley (Toast of London).
