Brazil’s World Cup team went down in flames during its semifinals match against Germany’s ultra-coordinated players, in a stunning 7-1 blowout. Mind you, Brazil didn’t have Neymar’s magic (due to his broken back) and they were missing defensive captain Thiago Silva (who was suspended), but Germany proved that it’s a team with talent evenly distributed throughout its ranks. Midway through the first half, Germany’s Miroslav Klose, Sami Khedira, and Toni Kroos scored 4 goals in a 6-minute span of time, silencing a crowd that had been cheering wildly at the start of the game! Thomas Mueller and Andre Schuerrle also added some points, contributing to Brazil’s first loss in a competitive home game since 1975.
