Google Naps
Here’s a look at where people have tagged spots across the globe so far.

You can never overestimate the power of a good nap, as they can leave a person feeling refreshed and alert after just 15 rejuvenating minutes. That’s nice and all when you’re at home with a bed at the ready, but what about when you need to catch a quick catnap while out and about? Don’t worry, Google Naps will scout the best snooze spots all around the world!

The entire program is user-generated, meaning people choose to share their favorite places to doze off with other individuals who use Google Naps. It’s super easy to create an entry on the page, too; all you have to do is find your favorite place on the map, click, add a description, and press enter! There are actually quite a lot of entries from all over the world, including Antarctica.

Though it seems like the tech giant Google is behind the project, the site itself is actually not associated with the large company. The website’s two founders light-heartedly decided to use Google Maps as a way to deliver the best locations for heavy-lidded folks, and also incorporated the mega search engine company’s name! Is there a lawsuit for the founders on the horizon?

Not at all! Google is famous for encouraging employees to catch a couple of Zs during working hours, and they approve of the website, so it’s a win-win for everyone.
