After all the turkeys breathe a sigh of relief and shoppers survive Black Friday sales, it’s time to get in some pajamas and watch this weekend’s TV marathons.
For J.K. Rowling fans, ABC Family’s Harry Potter marathon visits the wonderful wizarding world of Hogwarts. In case you didn’t catch Goblet of Fire through Deathly Hallows Part 1 on Friday, Prisoners of Azkhaban through Deathly Hallows Part 2 will run on Saturday from 7am to 11pm.
If you’re itching for some real-life scientific mysteries, Discovery’s Science channel is showing Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman on Saturday from 8am to 6pm. Get your physics, robotics, space, and biology on, with Freeman’s amazingly awesome narration voice.
Spike TV is wielding the Force with Star Wars marathons on Saturday from 9am to 10:30pm, and Sunday from 3pm to 9m. Episode I: Phantom Menace, Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will be shown on Saturday, as well as Episode IV: A New Hope. If you’re only in the mood for the original, less lightsaber-happy trilogy, Sunday will only be showing Episode IV: A New Hope, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Trekkies will get their share of sci-fi from Syfy, which will be having a massive Star Trek marathon from Saturday 11am to Sunday 2:30pm. Star Trek I-VI, Star Trek Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, and Star Trek: Nemesis will be shown, offering an Abrams-less trip down memory lane.
