Last month, Jessica Alba used her company to help raise money for children fighting cancer.

Jessica Alba’s lifestyle company, “The Honest Co.”, is now valued at $1 billion!

Yes, you heard that right. Alba, who’s starred in dozens of action flicks and romantic comedies, is a 33-year-old mother of two who didn’t like how many household products had toxic chemicals in them. So, she decided to create a non-toxic line of affordable lifestyle items, selling everything from natural baby goods to vitamins and toothpaste.

The Honest Co. is now being valued at $1 billion on the stock market, just 2-and-a-half years after launching in 2012. Her success has inspired fierce competition from fellow Hollywood stars, like Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Goop” company and Reese Witherspoon’s “Draper James”. They’re breaking into the women’s market too, along with online blogs that offer advice to ladies on topics like fashion and cooking.

Alba’s company is already on the way to tripling its profits to $150 million, so it’s no surprise that everyone from investors to mainstream fans are lining up for a slice of honesty.
