The Jonas Brothers are disbanding, just three weeks after canceling their tour! “It’s over for now,” said Kevin Jonas, while Nick Jonas added they’re “closing a chapter, for sure.”
Hmm, I wonder if any of these boys will end up going down the path of Justin Timberlake, whose solo career has far outshined his days as part of the boy band *NSYNC. I’d place my bets on Nick, who confessed to his brothers on October 3 that he no longer had much faith in the band’s future. He explained, “I was feeling kind of trapped. I needed to share my heart with my brothers.”
The New Jersey boys formed the band in 2005 and starred in 2010’s Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream show. They were also nominated in 2008 for a Best New Artist Grammy Award.
According to E! News, a source said, “There are no personal issues. They just all wanted different things. They love each other. They always will.” This insider also shared, “Joe wants to do acting and art and his own music. He’s passionate and has his own set of goals.” As for Kevin, the secret source explained, “Kevin wants to focus on being a dad. He can’t wait for Danielle to have their baby. His priorities have changed.” Nick, meanwhile, wants to focus “on music and Broadway.” Fans, of course, are already praying for a reunion in the future. Only time will tell if they catch that “lovebug” again.
