Kevin Durant chosen as NBA MVP

The NBA’s 2013-14 MVP has been named, and the Oklahoma City Thunder’s very own Kevin Durant was awarded the crown! He won quite handily as well, with 119 of 125 first-place votes, in a season where he seized the league’s scoring title for the 4th time in 5 seasons! With 32 points and 5.5 assists per game, it’s no surprise he so easily outmatched the competition. Even the Miami Heat’s star player, LeBron James, who won the award in four of the last five seasons, couldn’t rise beyond second place.
