Kings rule the Avalanche in 6-4 shootout

After 3 weeks in the Olympics, the Los Angeles Kings came back strong in a shootout match against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday. The Kings were two goals down in the 2nd period, but they worked their way up and over thanks to scores from Jeff Carter, Jarret Stoll, Robyn Regehr, Justin Williams, and 2 from Anze Kopitar. With 3 minutes and 13 seconds remaining in the final period, Kopitar helped lift the Kings to a brutal 6-4 victory. Goalie Martin Jones was no slouch, either, making 3 game-saving stops in the last 12 minutes.
