Bryant talks recovery and LA Lakers

Still recovering from a surgically repaired Achilles tendon, Kobe Bryant isn’t 100% sure if he’ll be playing when the Los Angeles Lakers open the season on October 29. Appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show, the Black Mamba entertained the audience with his thoughts on the Lakers, his own early career, and his honest opinion on Dwight Howard’s move to the Houston Rockets. Bryant, who turns 35 next week, believes his 17-year career is “definitely not over” and says he’d love to claim a sixth NBA championship. “People just don’t understand how obsessed I am with winning,” said the Black Mamba. It looks like his daughters, ages 7 and 10, have the same competitive spirit, because he described them as “insanely, insanely competitive.”
