If you’re a 90s kid, then you’ll remember Lindsay Lohan as the cute little redhead in The Parent Trap. You’ll also remember being completely shocked when you found out she didn’t actually have a twin. Lindsay Lohan’s career choices after The Parent Trap put her on the market as one of Hollywood’s most favorable young actresses. By 2005, Lindsay Lohan’s future seemed bright with memorable performances in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls, and two hit albums that broke into the Billboard charts after one week of being released. However, her success was cut short after after three drunken driving incidents in the summer of 2007, that started a downward spiral of out of control behavior. In fact, if you’re not a 90s kid, you probably only know about Lohan because of her irresponsible behaviors in public.
At age 27, Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to the negative spotlight, but with help from Oprah Winfrey, she’s trading in the bottles of alcohol for a documentary. Lindsay Lohan hopes to use this documentary to inform the public about her struggles and shed light on the very real issues that drug abuse can cause. The documentary is set to air exclusively on the Oprah Winfrey Network in August of 2014.
As a long-term fan of Lindsay Lohan, at least in her better years, I’m very excited to see her in new projects. I hope that she gets her life back on track.
