The Detroit Tigers are lucky to have a pitching wizard like Max Scherzer. The Tigers defeated the New York Mets in a 3-0 victory on Saturday, where Scherzer outpitched Matt Harvey in an All-Star rematch and became the third player in MLB history to win 19 of his first 20 decisions. In a masterful display of skill, Scherzer struck out 11 and hit an amazing RBI double. ”I’ve got a replay and I’m sending a text to everybody right now. It was definitely 96 (mph) down and away, and I laced it for a double,” Scherzer said.
