Sony’s first ever Playstation Experience (PSX) event took place this weekend in Las Vegas, with major news and hands-on fun for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Playstation Vita.
The biggest game on display was the highly-anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, with an action-packed glimpse of treasure hunter Nathan Drake exploring a dangerous jungle. Capcom’s Street Fighter V was officially announced as a PS4 exclusive that will have cross-platform play between console and PC gamers. Bungie showed off its upcoming Destiny: The Dark Below, which will expand the popular sci-fi schooter with a daring plunge into the Hive’s lunar caves. Sports fans got a look at MLB 15: The Show and comic book lovers enjoyed some epic Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay.
Sony is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Playstation this month, and the PS4 continues to outsell rival Microsoft’s Xbox One by millions. Considering all the exclusives and top-notch titles at PSX 2014, next year looks to continue Sony’s console domination.
