Senior Aaron Murray gave one of the strongest performances of his career, when he threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns on Saturday. The Georgia Bulldogs went on to defeat the South Carolina Gamecocks with a 41-30 victory, gaining an early edge in the Southeastern Conference East. Defensive master Jadeveon Clowney, who had a rough start early this season, was unable to help the Gamecocks hold Murray back from his domination. “Aaron played a pretty good game,” said Clowney. “He threw it quick and ran it away from me the whole game.”
