NASCAR Larson not afraid of crashing like his hero, Stewart

The 21 year-old speedster, Kyle Larson, hit the Southern Iowa Speedway on Tuesday to defend his Ultimate Challenge title for a third time, despite the leg-breaking crash his hero Tony Stewart took the night before. In a sport that’s becoming increasingly viewed as highly dangerous, especially with the recent death of legendary driver Kramer Williamson just this past weekend, you’d think these sprint car madmen would have a bit more fear! However, Larson, like many others, views the sport as a relaxing emotional joyride. Yes, really. You can watch the best-of-the-best duke it out with their curiously winged cars this weekend at the Knoxville Nationals, the ultimate finale of the dramatic sprint car racing marathon. Hardcore NASCAR fans are already fired up! Larson is positioned very strongly and just might pull off a first place finish.
