The NBA playoffs are getting down to the wire now, as the Western and Eastern Conference Finals begin on Sunday, May 18. Last year’s rivals, Miami and San Antonio, may be looking for a seven-game repeat, since the West’s Spurs beat the Portland Trail Blazers and the East’s Heat defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night. But first, the Spurs will need to survive the Oklahoma City Thunder, who knocked out the Los Angeles Clippers 104-98 on Thursday night. Then, the Heat will have to take down the Indiana Pacers, who were victorious against the Washington Wizards in a 93-80 game on the same night. Will the Spurs or the Thunder win the Western Conference Finals? Can the Heat survive the Eastern Conference against the Indiana Pacers?
