The very first March Madness games went down on Tuesday night, as the Albany Great Danes beat the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers 71-64 and the North Carolina State Wolfpack defeated the Xavier Musketeers 74-59. Now, Thursday’s games in Orlando, Florida will feature No. 15 seed Albany facing off against No. 1 seed Florida Gators, and No. 12 seed NC State taking on No. 5 seed Saint Louis Billikens. On Wednesday night, the last two Opening Round games will pit the Texas Southern Tigers against the Cal Poly Mustangs and the Iowa Hawkeyes against the Tennessee Volunteers. Once these play-in matches are settled, the Round of 64 will take place on March 20!
