College football’s Week 10 showed off the difference between steady rising stars and sinking ships. Ohio State absolutely steamrolled Purdue 56-0, and while it’s ranked fourth in the BCS standings, that kind of performance is certainly worth noticing. South Carolina is still a contender in the SEC East Division championship after their controlled leashing of the Bulldogs, but they’ll need to beat Florida on November 16 and hope that Missouri takes a spill. Michigan is fading fast, especially after the Spartans struck them with a 29-6 spear. TCU, who many hoped would cruise to the Big 12, is now slumped at 3-6; they’ll have to pick it up hardcore in November for a shot at the postseason.
