The most anticipated game between the Aggies and Crimson Tide ended with Alabama’s 49-42 victory. Whereas the Manziel and McCarron duel was a back-and-forth quarterback gunslinger-fest, the UCLA game against Nebraska started off much slower with the Bruins behind 21-3 in the second quarter. Then, QB Brett Hundley and running back Jordon James made popcorn out of the Cornhuskers as they scored 38 unanswered points and crushed Nebraska 41-21. A much less suspenseful win this past weekend was Oklahoma State’s utter domination of Lamar, with a 59-3 steamrolling as the Cowboys trampled the Cardinals under their boots. In a far more evenly balanced contest, the Oregon State Beavers tackled the Utah Utes for a 51-48 victory, including a game-tying score by the Utes when only 21 seconds were left, sending the game into overtime. Stanford’s still keeping itself in top fighting form, as the Cardinal took on the Army’s Black Knights in a 34-20 win.
