College football’s Week 6 certainly seemed like a Heisman Trophy beauty pageant, with all the quarterbacks flashing their throws, touchdowns, and passing skills for the judges. Oregon’s Marcus Mariota threw five… count ‘em five touchdown passes, while Baylor’s running back Lache Seastrunk was no slouch either. In the ever-exciting SEC, Alabama’s AJ McCarron kicked it back into high gear, as Georgia’s Aaron Murray led his team to a comeback victory against Tennessee. Florida State’s Jameis Winston and Clemson’s Tajh Boyd faced off powerfully against their ACC enemies, and will be staring each other down in two weeks. Then, Ohio State’s Braxton Miller (who was not quite up to the Heisman level) still led his Buckeyes to a win against Northwestern.
