Sunday football certainly had its fair share of excitement, and here’s a few of the highlights we found enjoyable:
Denver’s Peyton Manning continued bringing a world of hurt to the competition, making two touchdown passes and completing all but 6 of his 34 throws for 327 yards, as the Philadelphia Eagles were barbecued into fried chicken in a 52-20 Broncos win. Also 4-0 so far are the Seattle Seahawks, whose hard-won 23-20 game against the Houston Texans included a brilliant display by cornerback Richard Sherman intercepting quarterback Matt Schaub’s throw and returning it for a score. Joining the Seahawks and Broncos in the 4-0 undefeated club, the New England Patriots secured a 30-23 win against the Atlanta Falcons and the Kansas City Chiefs struck hard against the New York Giants in a 31-7 victory. Now, even though the San Francisco 49ers and Houston Texans are 2-2, they’re still very well-balanced, and thus have earned a spot on the top 5 power rankings list.
