The Pittsburgh Penguins earned their sixth straight win after beating the Minnesota Wild 5-2 on Thursday. Chris Kunitz scored his 19th goal, and defenseman Olli Maatta landed a third period penalty shot. “I was nervous, for sure, but I think that’s the only move that I’ve got and it worked,” said Maatta. “I thought he got it at first and then I saw it go in so I was pretty excited.” Captain Sidney Crosby offered two assists and leads the league with 51 points. “We were not ready to play the game hard enough and that’s something that we have to look at ourselves in the mirror,” explained Wild head coach Mike Yeo. “To come out and get out-battled and outworked was disappointing.”
