Brandon Jennings made a 3-pointer with 4:09 left in the game, snagged the ball from LeBron James for another score, and the Detroit Pistons shut down the Heat 107-97. Throughout the game, Kyle Singler led Detroit with 18 points and Andre Drummond had 18 rebounds, while Miami’s James and Michael Beasley each scored 23. After falling behind by 18, Miami managed to get three points away from a tie after a dunk by James, but then missed the next three throws before Jennings landed a 26-foot shot into the basket. James described the long toss by Jennings as “the dagger from 90 feet” because of how far away it seemed.
