The Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors game turned ugly when Wesley Matthews and Mo Williams were ejected from the game after a third-quarter brawl broke out. The drama seemed to ignite a fire in the Trail Blazers, because the 79-71 Warriors lead crumbled before the 42-22 onslaught that followed. LaMarcus Aldridge scored another 17 points and 10 rebounds for the rest of the game, bringing his total to 30 points and 21 rebounds. The Trail Blazers ended the evening with a 113-101 victory, extending their winning streak to an impressive 10 games and cementing their 12-2 domination of the Northwest Division.
