Red Sox beat the Mariners in 15th inning, taking AL East lead

Whew, what a marathon of a game! A 15-inning match between the Boston Red Sox and the Seattle Mariners started in July last night and ended in August early this morning. When Bosox batter Stephen Drew stepped to the plate, he landed a hit that finally ended the 5 hour long game with a 5-4 victory. Now, the Red Sox are back in the lead for the American League East.
