On Wednesday night, the last Round 1 games of the Stanley Cup playoffs concluded, with the Rangers, Kings, and Wild beating the competition. The Los Angeles Kings finished off the San Jose Sharks in Game 7 with a resounding 5-1 victory, while the Minnesota Wild faced a much closer match in their 5-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche. As for the New York Rangers, they duked it out with the Philadephia Flyers in a defense-heavy contest, ultimately beating them 2-1. Now, on Thursday, the first Round 2 game will feature the Montreal Canadiens going up against the Boston Bruins.
