Netflix will begin streaming the popular animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars show on March 7! For those fans who were upset that Clone Wars was canceled out of the blue last year, Netflix will also be airing the never-before-seen series-concluding 6th season, which the producers call “The Lost Missions”.

Cartoon Network televised the first 5 seasons of Clone Wars, which takes place between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Now that Netflix is taking the reins, chief content officer Ted Sarandos said, “Star Wars is one of the most iconic franchises of all time and this series joins a long line of Disney content that Netflix members are and will continue to enjoy for years to come.”

This should give fans of the Force something to tide them over until the animated Star Wars: Rebels series releases in the fall!
