For those lucky enough to make it to Super Bowl XLVIII, despite the pricy tickets, I hope they bundle up warmly – it’s going to be one frosty game! Sleet, snow, and polar temperatures might strike on February 2.
This could have more of an impact on Denver’s offense than on Seattle’s, because with Peyton’s 55 touchdowns in the regular season, they’ve relied a lot on throwing the ball. Seattle, on the other hand, prefers not to. Hurling the pigskin through all the wintry weather seems like a recipe for an interception!
That said, the Broncos did manage a mega 507 yards during their 26-16 win over New England during the AFC Championship, so there’s no denying the offensive might of Manning’s team. Will it be enough, however, to overcome Seattle’s iron defense? They gave up a league-low 14.4 points and 273.6 yards per game.
Either way, it definitely looks like an epic match between an unstoppable force and an immovable object in the midst of a fearsome blizzard.
