Taylor Swift is heading back to the 80s for her “Sweeter Than Fiction” single, after teaming up with guitarist Jack Antonoff.

With a twinge of New Wave in her vocal twang, the pop-country gal created the song for the upcoming British movie One Chance, which is based on a true rags-to-riches musical story. The flick explores the life of Paul Potts, a store clerk who became a wildly popular opera singer after winning Britain’s Got Talent in 2007.

The song is sung from the point of view of an original fan who never doubted Potts. Her lyrics explore his life before fame, saying, “I’ve seen you lost in a crowd, seen your colors fade,” before following his rise and announcing, “There you’ll stand ten feet tall, and I will say, ‘I knew it all along.’”

Her tune will play during the ending credits of One Chance.
