Can’t get enough Bilbo Baggins or Gandalf the Grey? What about the hunky arrow-wielding Legolas? Didn’t think we’d forget about his amazing archery skills, right? Anyways, if you’re a huge fan of The Hobbit series, and can’t bear the thought of waiting another few years for the next movie, then Lego has you covered!
The first trailer for the upcoming Lego The Hobbit video game is out, showcasing a comedic take on Middle-earth and its small-statured denizens. The game, which was announced earlier in November, will be based on the first two films, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the recently released The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Gamers will be able to play as Bilbo, Gandalf, and all 13 dwarfs!
The trailer also shows some smaller, but important details, such as a horde of mischievous goblins, and a scene with the cave-dwelling Gollum. Like previous Lego games, The Hobbit will focus on solving puzzles, finding treasure, and battling dark forces! Currently, there is no specific release date, but it should arrive on all game consoles in 2014!
