Tired of pedaling?

By Casey Frye, CCNN Writer

Have you ridden a bike for so long, the seat numbs your bottom? If you’re at that point, your legs are probably really tired, too. How will you ride all the way back home after being so exhausted? If only there was a machine that pedaled your bike for you!

Actually, there is, and it’s called Rubbee. There is a rubber roll on the end of the machine that makes contact with your bike’s back wheel. The custom built motor inside Rubbee spins the rubber roll around, which in turn spins the bike wheel around, like two connected gears. This machine attaches to the bottom of your seat and transforms your regular ol’ bike into an electric bike. No more pedaling needed! It weighs around 14 pounds and gives your bike a top speed of about 15 mph! I hope you’re wearing a helmet when you ride, because that’s really fast.

The best part is that you don’t need wires or tools to attach it to your bike. You can just snap it on when you’re ready for a day of fun, and when you get home, your legs won’t be sore! The Rubbee creators are currently raising money on Kickstarter to make their product available to the world.
