Bruins rejoice! Eddie Vanderdoes has successfully wriggled his way out of the clutches of Notre Dame and is now eligible to play for UCLA. He may be just one player, but now that the team is on the rise, adding him just might gel everything together. Physically, he’s tough and skilled enough to play right away, even as a freshman. At 6’2” and 310 pounds, he can dominate two gaps as a 3-4 defensive end, and can even break up a few double teams. Besides his monstrous size, he’s also known for his quickness and fundamentals. So, look out Trojans! The Vanderdoes is wearing blue and gold.
