Warriors point guard Stephen Curry made a tiebreaking jumper with 0.1 seconds left on the clock, edging his team to a 122-120 win against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. Coach Mark Jackson excitedly expressed, “Incredible win for us. We had everything going against us. They had all the momentum. Guys really stepped up and made plays.” By the end of the game, Curry had racked up 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Klay Thompson led the team with 27 points and Jermaine O’Neal landed 20 points and eight boards. Dallas didn’t go down without a fight, as Jose Calderon made a mega 3-pointer in overtime, giving the Mavericks a 120-118 lead before Curry’s wild shot. Calderon was a good sport about the last-second loss, explaining,”That’s not the first time he made that shot. It was pretty close. He’s a great player. If we made a couple of shots, we would have won.”
