What a close game! Although they were down by one, the Pelicans chose not to call a timeout on their final possession. The drive-and-kick that followed gave Eric Gordon a chance for an open corner three, but he didn’t quite connect with net. Jermaine O’Neal performed well, with 18 points and 8 rebounds after replacing the suspended Andrew Bogut. As for David Lee, he rocked 19 points and 7 boards. From the Pelicans, Ryan Anderson made an impressive 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting, with Jrue Holiday landing 17 points on 7-of-16 shooting. The Warriors are now 9-6 after the 102-101 victory, while the Pelicans fell to 6-8.
