Washington State takes down USC

By Alejandro Freixes, CCNN Head Writer

In one of the ugliest games of the 2013 college football season, the Washington State Cougars and USC Trojans traded punts and turnovers, tying the score at 7-7 until deep into the fourth quarter. Then, Dominique Williams broke free, getting the Cougars in field goal range. Although USC had a shot at another tie after doing down 10-7, Damante Horton picked off his second pass of the game and a defensive pass interference sealed a WSU victory. After losing eight games in a row to the Trojans, Saturday was the first victory for the Cougars against USC since 2003.
