Halo
Imagine how epic a Halo-inspired television show could be!

It’s been about a month since the launch of the Xbox One, and Microsoft keeps delivering great news! The company’s president of entertainment and digital, Nancy Tellem, recently revealed that their original programming should hit television screens very soon.

“We’re hoping we will be able to put something up in the first quarter, at minimum second quarter. We aren’t Netflix, we aren’t Amazon, we’re a different animal,” said Tellem. “We’re neither or we’re a little like them. It all depends. The lack of black and white and this is the template and this is what we’re following is very difficult. As we continue to do deals everyone’s going to get more comfortable.”

Currently, there’s 48 million Xbox Live subscribers and more than 72 million Xbox consoles around the world! That’s a huge number of viewers when you break it down, right? So, with streaming websites like Netflix and Amazon being so huge right now, it’s really no surprise that Microsoft is taking the next step in entertainment!

Now, what kind of shows does the Xbox have in mind, exactly? Well, during its Xbox One reveal earlier in the year, Microsoft unveiled their plans to make a show focusing on real-life street soccer players, and a possible Halo-inspired series. For those of you who are #TEAMPS4, then let me give you some deetz on possibly, in my opinion, the best video game known to gamers. The Halo series is an Xbox exclusive video game where you fight as the alien, Arbiter, or the highly ranked marine, Master Chief. Together, both soldiers put aside their differences to defeat rival aliens and restore peace to Earth.

As a crazy sci-fi fan, you can tell that I’m more than excited to see this show spring into action. Don’t let me down, Xbox!
